For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric Consulting Services produces power system studies, performs assessments, and creates designs packages for electrical distribution systems. The system studies specialty focuses on the modeling and analysis of power systems to evaluate code & standard compliance, optimize protective device responses to faults, and provide required information for worker protection.

Consulting Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Consulting Business Leader to oversee and drive sales, margins, customer satisfaction, and forecast delivery across the East region. This role is pivotal in fostering growth through strong relationships, mentoring, collaboration, and adaptability to changing business conditions and customer preferences.

Regional Studies Manager (RSM) Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead studies business initiatives focused on sales performance, margin improvement, customer satisfaction, and timely forecast delivery for the assigned region.
  • Supports, provides timely feedback, and mentors team of Studies Lead Engineers and Studies Execution Engineers under their direct supervision.
  • Builds team culture to encourage long term, recurring consulting relationships by delivering high quality study recommendations for customers.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Sales Teams, Channel Partners, and key customers to influence growth and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with other System Studies Operations Teams, Project Coordinators (PCs), and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to achieve business goals.
  • As an operations leader, the RSM is responsible for managing resources effectively, keeping engineers optimally loaded, and complying with Consulting Services' technical and administrative standards.

Key Outcomes:

  • Achieve targeted financial metrics including sales growth, margin enhancement, utilization, and accurate forecast delivery for the aligned region.
  • Improve customer satisfaction scores through timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Drive orders growth by influencing and collaborating with Sales, Channel Partners, Consulting BDMs, and key customers.
  • Identify and develop team members through Development Discussions to support and align with the Consulting Services strategy/OneSoftware Services vision (EDT, EDTS, ETAP).
  • Foster team engagement and retention through initiatives like OneVoice and professional development.
  • Ensure a safe working environment with a target of 0.0 MIR for field workers.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and business acumen, and/or 10 years of experience with progressive increase of supervisory responsibility
  • Background in engineering, Professional Engineering license preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Deep understanding of the power system study process and ability to influence improvements effectively.
  • Responds quickly and clearly to management, proactively addressing issues that impact business performance.
  • Ability to understand and contribute to revenue and long-term forecasts, reviewing trends in quotes, orders, sales, and other key metrics.
  • Strong understanding of consulting offers and business dynamics, working effectively with Operations, PCs, BDMs, CDH, and EcoXperts to achieve overall Consulting Service goals.
