Forcepoint is seeking a Director of Regional & Channel Marketing to drive demand within North America and support our Channel Marketing efforts globally. This critical role includes strategic planning leveraging all marketing channels, as well as working with Marketing leadership in EMEA, APAC and LATAM to support our global Channel growth.

The Director, Regional & Channel Marketing role is at the forefront of not only communicating our message, but also crafting the strategies and execution plans to attract and retain customers. This position works closely with our North America Sales and Global Channel teams to understand business goals, and translate those goals into an integrated marketing plan, including field events, channel marketing and working cross-functionally with our Campaigns team to optimize our digital spend. This role also includes working with Marketing leaders in each geography to develop and execute effective Channel Marketing strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Develop our overall North America marketing strategy - define overall goals, objectives, and tactics that will drive success vs goals for our business in the region.
  • Leadership and management of the North America marketing team, including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management; lead a seasoned team of field marketing, events, channel, and demand gen professionals.
  • Partner with the North America sales leadership team to identify and formulate targeted marketing program; be a strategic partner to sales and provide thought leadership that influences the global governments strategic plan.
  • Partner with Global Channel leadership and peers in EMEA, APAC and LATAM to drive Channel pipeline, partner recruiting and enablement.
  • Drive data-driven decision making and optimization, directing spend and effort across the team to maximize return on investment.
  • Manage pipeline review process to ensure our North America business has proper pipeline coverage for all business units and sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the wider global marketing team to ensure alignment and proper regional and Channel execution of campaigns.
  • Lead daily operations, ensuring a high energy environment with adherence to KPI metrics and best practice processes.
  • Provide directional leadership & coaching to optimize productivity and effectiveness, including engagement strategies, objections handling and role play.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of campaign demand creation and Channel activities on sales pipeline, revenue and conversion against pipeline goals.

Desired Education, Experience and Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing or related field.
  • Experience managing and leading regional field and channel marketing functions.
  • 3+ years people management experience leading, motivating, and coaching top-performing teams.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and optimizing B2B demand generation, event, and other marketing programs in a two-tier channel business model.
  • Excellent people skills especially working to align teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills for a variety of audiences including executives, partners and customers.
  • Extensive experience successfully managing a distributed marketing team
  • Proven track record of managing budgets and outcomes to plan.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
