What will you do?
  • Report to the Regional Systems Leader and work closely with the project sponsors and project management team to define the project objectives, create a plan for executing those objectives. Depending on the systems demand, the role will include working on multiple projects or directly on a single specific project in APAC.
  • Accountable for all customer projects in execution regardless of EcoB product, across the region. Monitors & maintains overview status of all projects, SPOC & escalation point for end user customer (not contractor). To manage and communication with contractor.
  • Responsible for the day to day project execution may/will be delegated to country or ZEC especially if project is through a local contractor (eg local PM still required to manage project) BUT Systems Operations Manager aligns and co-ordinates across the multiple projects across the region.
  • Where the project is in a non-Direct Delivery Country or that the Country does not have sufficient capability, the Systems Operations Manager will assign a Regional Project Manager to take the lead on the project. The engineering and commissioning resources will either be by an EcoXpert or local country.
  • Responsible for ensuring aligned execution approach, Engineering Standards, documentation etc. across all projects in the region.
  • Ensures consistent customer experience across all projects in the region.
  • Ensures knowledge transfer / lessons learnt of execution issues to local customer & SE teams.
  • Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan.
  • Lead or work with the project management team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsor.
  • Monitor the project report and report the project status to the management on a regular basis.
  • Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project teams' scope of responsibility.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Skilled in Mechanical Controls and Electrical Integration Projects
  • Proven track record in project delivery and a collaborative approach to Project Execution.
  • Skilled in schedule planning, monitoring, and re-planning in a collaborative mode with the project teams (internal & external).
  • Skilled in assessing the competence of our Project teams and SI's.
  • Skilled in tools such as 2 week look ahead planning of tasks, identification of issues that could impact schedule completion, along with resolutions to mitigate the effect.
  • Skilled in use of open weekly progress reporting to the Client / Customer and including progress, areas of concern, delays and where help his need.
  • Skilled in risk & opportunity methods to enhance the project delivery across design and execution phases such as design workshops, off-site testing / validation (Client / Customer & Vendors).
  • Share Lessons Learned with previous Project to support best practice across all teams.
  • Skilled in continuous resource planning throughout the Project to ensure resource availability and control resource costs.
  • Create an atmosphere where the Customer sees value in working with Schneider Electric.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Be seen as the trusted advisor for our customer
