Responsibilities
- Develop, articulate and deliver against the account growth strategy that embraces the full portfolio of Schneider Electric and which is aligned with our customers business priorities requiring the alignment and mobilisation of diverse stakeholders across a matrixed environment
- Develop and grow Schneider Electric's profitable share of wallet and quality of business in the Process OEM account, establishing Schneider Electric as a standard
- Understand the importance of triangulation between requirements of end-user customers, the Process OEM, and Schneider Electric as technology, software and solution provider. Work to coordinate these elements to achieve maximum results
- Develop deep multi-tier customer relationships by gaining access to the partner/customer at all levels by proactively facilitating regular executive engagements based on an in-depth understanding of the customers challenges
- Bring deep domain knowledge and strengthen thought leadership on New Energy Landscape / Energy & Chemical industry trends and critical challenges facing our customers - Work with the Segment Marketing team and LOB's for the development of a value proposition, capable of responding to the needs of the customer
- Be recognised as the Schneider Electric expert on the customer, their business and their opportunities by identifying, growing and managing the pipeline of opportunities while developing the key channels to market
- To effectively support the account build an extended team and foster collaboration between internal stakeholders (commercial, marketing, solutions architects, subject matter experts, execution teams)
This is a critical business leadership role, to be considered you must meet the following criteria:
- Accomplished business developer with extensive experience and proven track record in International Account Management and complex solution selling
- Entrepreneurial approach, capable of forging new senior-level relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
- Excellent written and oral business communication skills with fluency in both English and German, with the ability to articulate business trends and link actions to outcomes
- Collaborative, passionate and dynamic team player with the energy and ability to obtain alignment and work effectively with an extended team across a complex, global matrix organization
- Knowledge of the New Energy Landscape / Energy & Chemical industries as a provider of technology, solutions and services
- A strong negotiator, familiar with managing relationships with Strategic Procurement teams, experienced in contract management and partnership agreements
- Your familiarity with the New Energy Landscape / Energy & Chemical industries (the processes, pain points, constraints and opportunities) mean that you are a trusted partner and can offer solutions and value-add business streams
- Existing relationships with both C-Level and Operational leadership with the credibility and walk-in rights
- Your technical and sales expertise will include innovative digital solutions relating to industrial automation, energy management and energy automation (hardware and software)
- A demonstratable and successful track record of sales, sales & account management, business development and deal closing
- Structured, organised individual whose approach to sales will be to proactively create demand and opportunity and not simply respond to RFQ's
- Demonstrated ability to embrace diversity of thought
- Accustomed to a fast-changing, matrix environment, and advanced stakeholder management
