The Power Systems Division of Schneider Electric is responsible for the development of medium voltage electrical distribution offers (electrical switchgears, transformers...).
The position is based in Grenoble on our Technopole 38TEC site (close to the train station), a magnificent facility with R&D teams and laboratories.
Reporting to Faith, VP CS&Q for our Medium Voltage Line of Business, who is based in China, you will join the "Components&Bricks" department.
This department is strong of approx. 200 employees, mostly working in R&D (design of new offers) and industrialisation of our new and existing offers.
As League Quality Leader, you will be the functional manager for a team of ~10 quality leaders working for the different squads.

Your role :
You will leverage your passion for Customer Satisfaction & Quality to implement all necessary corrective and preventive actions to improve the offers' design robustness, the quality management of our current offers and robustness and reliability activities for new offers.
You will be working in close collaboration with our Design Engineering, Laboratories, Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
Your missions :
- Offer quality management for the 10 relevant squads:
- Support squad Quality leaders in their day-to-day, helping them prioritize issues, ensuring they have the proper capabilities to perform their mission
- Develop squad Quality leaders, ensure training and development opportunities
- Ensure Design for Safety & Reliability (DfSR) and APQP compliance for new products introduction
- Manage legacy offers quality standards through standardization and continuous improvement (D-FMEA, PPAP...)
- Customer issues problem-solving (with cross-functional teams : Engineering, Marketing and Manufacturing) :
- Lead structured problem solving and prevention (8D) to solve customer painpoints
- Manage Offer Safety Alerts using crisis management techniques and managing communication with all stakeholders
- Managing quality league vision and culture :
- Actively participate in League Strategic discussions and provide Quality inputs to "offer roadmap planning"
- Set quality targets for the offer's portfolio
- Participate in industrial strategy (make or buy, Change of Suppliers, investment in new manufacturing capabilities)...
- Invest time to improve League's Quality culture (quality fundamentals adoption)
To fulfill those responsibilities, you will travel (25% of your time) to China, Europe and possible other locations.

Your profile :
- Master's degree in mechanical/electrical/electronics engineering or Industrial engineering
- 10+ years Quality experience acquired in global manufacturing companies
- Part of this experience was acquired in offer development organisation / New Product Introduction (i.e. not manufacturing only)
- 4+ years of Management experience, leading teams in an international environment
Your skills :
- Expert in Quality management tools :
- 8D, Root Cause Analysis
- Offer development : DfSR, APQP, Design FMEA...
- Managerial, coaching and development skills
- Communication & influence, stakeholders management at all levels of seniority
- Dealing with ambiguity, ability to handle complex and rapidly changing situations
- Fluent English (C1/C2), experience in a multi-cultural environment
- French would be a plus
