Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage Quality Field findings
  • Owner root cause identification corrective actions reducing COPQ ( Cost of Poor Quality) within US FSR activities
  • Provide direction and insight as focal for US FSR quality activities
  • Interact with QA Leadership, Central team, & Field teams.
  • Define Quality Control & Inspection plans for US Field Services
  • Maintain a compliant work environment for Dowty USA FSRs.
  • Sustain Quality records and stamp control.
  • Deliver human factors training
  • Coordinate with engineering on quality matters.
  • Well versed in the latest Dowty Maintenance manuals and Process specifications.
  • Working with management teams to provide recommendations and solutions to quality issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience) + 2 years experience in Quality Management.
  • Be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
