Quality Assurance Intern

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our production processes. You will identify critical quality characteristics, assess operations, and drive improvements to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify critical quality characteristics in processes through statistical control analysis, customer complaints, and internal non-conformities.
- Analyze critical operations that may jeopardize product quality by reviewing FMEA, PCP, and 8D for real or potential process issues.
- Participate in meetings to determine the disposition and root cause of internal material and process non-conformities.
- Identify and document improvement opportunities in production areas based on audit results of finished products and processes.
- Report on the quality performance of production areas, including MDR, FFR, and NQC metrics.
- Conduct quality activities for projects and/or new product transfers to the plant.
- Prepare and update quality documents for both new and existing products and processes, ensuring compliance with design or process requirements.
- Track customer complaint indicators (FFR) through the analysis of field failure indicators, applying Six Sigma methodology.
- Monitor and authorize the scrap of assigned production lines.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 50001, 14001, ISO 45001, CTPAT/OEA standards, and Schneider Performance System (SPS) requirements.

Qualifications:
- Active student of: Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineer or related
- English advanced
- Graduating on December 2025 or 2026
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies, such as Six Sigma (is not a must)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
