For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $ 128,480 - $ 192,720 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. As Protection, Control & Automation (PCA) Solution Architect, this person will be responsible for introducing, designing, prescribing, and selling PCA products and solutions in their assigned region and/or account list. PCA products and solutions cover activities such as: protection relays, substation automation, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), microgrid controls system, power management systems, and Auto Throw Over (ATO) solutions.

They will have the following responsibilities:

Collaborative
  • Co-develop and co-implement sales strategies: Create and execute collaborative sales plans, and relative rules of engagement to achieve targets and expand the customer base and improve overall Schneider business profitability.
  • Client Relationship Management: Co-establish and co-maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their business challenges.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with various technical teams to design and propose customized, scalable, efficient, and deliverable solutions that meet and exceed client's overall business needs.
  • Sales Process Management: Co-manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-ups and customer engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance solution offerings.
  • Training and Support: Provide enablement training and support to team members and clients to ensure successful adoption of solutions.

Technical:
  • Perform site-walks and site-surveys.
  • Introduce and assist with specifying Schneider's Protection, Control, Automation (PCA) products and solution/services.
  • Direct Quotation team on how to quote and do the project cost estimation and its relative engineering services.
  • Assist with technical clarification and commercial negotiations on submitted quotations/proposals.
  • Collaborate to conduct effective and concise customer presentation talking about overall Schneider's value proposition and project execution capabilities.
  • Hand over projects to Schneider's execution teams. Debriefing the scope, project objectives, stakeholder, communication customer business needs.

Qualifications:
  • PCA technical experience
  • Excellent client-facing skills, ideally including some Pre-Sales or sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree. Engineering Degree strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
