Project Manager Associate

As part of a project team, your responsibilities would include:
The person is responsible for managing various small and medium-sized projects or service projects. They have the ability to manage projects in a back-office mode. They follow applicable company policies and processes, with the main one being CPP (Customer Project Process).
PMA responsibilities include managing the relationship with the customer and third parties within the project scope. They are accountable for executing the project in line with the contract and its conditions.

Scope and Environment

Within a various entities and Hubs as part of a Project Management Team, PMA reports to the head of the center

Key responsibilities / activities



1) During the Selling phase, your tasks would include:
  • Project Handover from Tendering

2) During the Initiate & Set-up stage, your tasks would include:
  • Protect Schneider Electric's interests until the end of contractual obligations.
  • Ensure the project is executed in compliance with Schneider-Electric governance principles.
  • Organize and manage the project with suppliers, monitoring progress in line with the project management plan and ensure effective communication until completion.

3) During the Monitor & Control stage, your tasks would include:
  • Take full responsibility and control over project profitability (sales, margin, and cash), including forecasting.
  • Ensure timely revenue recognition as per the forecast and actions to improve profitability.
  • Develop customer and supplier intimacy and drive all communication with customers and suppliers and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor HSE policies for all team members and subcontractors, especially for site activities and travels, Manage cybersecurity its risks.
  • Take all necessary actions to correct any quality issues occurring during project execution.

4) During the Integrated Change Control stage, your tasks would include:
  • Perform regular risk and opportunity assessments and implement action plans to mitigate risks and prepare maintain Variations Order.

5) During the Close stage, your tasks would include:
  • Participate in the PM Community of Practice within the Execution Center. Identify, formalize, share, and promote lessons learned and best practices.
    Perform actions related with project closing.

Requirements

Education
  • University Degree (Engineering, Management)
  • PM certificate is a plus


Language
  • Fluent English
  • Another language is an advantage


Experience
  • Minimum 1 year in Project management
  • Experience in working in a plant is a plus
  • Experience in engineering is a plus


Skill requirements
  • Good technical background
  • Good knowledge of PM process
  • Good knowledge of SAP/ERP for financial controlling
  • Able to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Comfortable with new integrated digital tools for better work efficiency
