About the role
The purpose of this position is to develop internal and external Client relationships offering advice on current Global Geospatial provision with direct accountability for project delivery! The Geospatial Technician leads and performs measured surveys and 3D Scans for a variety of clients, including State and Federal agencies, and corporate companies.
The successful candidate will be personable, a very strong communicator and teammate. Additionally, they will be committed to their work and possess a positive outlook to successfully overcome the challenges associated with a project while maintaining high team morale.
This position will require frequent day and overnight travel - up to 50% and can be remote.

What you'll do
- Build and develop internal and external Client relationships offering advice on current Global Geospatial provision.
- Collaboration with wider Advisory and GWS businesses primarily within the US.
- Assist with and head-up on-site Team(s) undertaking Measured Surveys. Conducts walk-through surveys (from 1 hour to multiple days) to capture mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, structure and foundations, interiors, common areas, exterior walls, windows, roofs, and site work improvements. (This may require climbing two-story ladders or going up in a lift, lift operating certification is a plus)
- Utilise / develop working knowledge of Leica Terrestrial Laser Scanners, Total Stations and GPS data-capture hardware and data-processing software.
- Working knowledge of Matterport 360 Virtual Walkthrough hardware and software.
- Utilise / develop working knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D scan-registration techniques and associated 3D Revit modelling practices.
- Computer literate including Word, Excel and ideally MS Project.
- Assist in compilation of Reports and Drawings for Client delivery from inception to completion, with supervision, to meet the project objectives in accordance with company policies.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in architecture, engineering, or construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years commercial building 3D modeling, digital twinning and BIM drawing experience with a general understanding of all building systems: site work, structural, building envelope, and MEP.
- Certification as a 3D Designer, BIM Manager, Matterport 3D Capture professional strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills with 3D Capture and modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Hollow Builder, etc. and Microsoft Office Suite Products (Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Architectural or Engineering Degree (US and/or Canada) preferred. Additional certification in Autocad / Revit, BIM modeling and digital twin preferred

CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this FCA Project Manager Geospacial position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for this FCA Project Manager Geospacial position is $85,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
