Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects within the electrical and mechanical domains, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Lead and manage electrical and mechanical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  2. Supplier Management: Manage suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, maintaining high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Detailed Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, tracking milestones and critical path activities to ensure timely project delivery.
  4. Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities to minimize potential negative impacts and maximize positive outcomes.
  5. Overall Project Control: Exercise overall control of all aspects of the projects to ensure alignment with project goals, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems, overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning phases while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  8. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
  9. Resource Coordination: Coordinate and optimize the allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  10. Customer Relationship: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience throughout the project, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process, implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Trade certificates or related Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in project management within the electrical and mechanical industries, preferably in Data centres, energy management, automation, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including power distribution and energy management
  • Project management certification i.e PMP, Diploma or Prince2
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required for project assignments.
