Role Summary: Are you passionate about procurement and supply chain management? As a Solution Purchaser at Schneider Electric, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing purchasing strategies for high-stake projects. You will be responsible for supplier sourcing, risk assessment, and contract management, ensuring competitive offers and improving execution margins. What You'll Do:

  • Define and execute purchasing strategies for high-stake/high-risk commodities.
  • Manage supplier sourcing and selection from early tendering to cash collection.
  • Integrate all specification aspects (cost, lead-time, technology, quality, flexibility, logistics, financing & cash flow, T&Cs, Make or Buy).
  • Handle RFI, RFQ, eRA, and bid tabulation based on total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Secure the negotiation process, including terms and conditions.
  • Assess and mitigate risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
  • Contract with suppliers, considering customer requirements and anticipating changes and claims.
  • Manage the purchasing order process ethically, securing Schneider Electric's assets.
  • Ensure supply deliveries and manage risk mitigation plans with suppliers.
  • Monitor and control supplier changes and claims to improve margins.
  • Qualify suppliers and evaluate their performance for service and material purchases.
  • Collaborate with the team to better serve customers, considering change orders and expectations.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a procurement position.
  • Experience in full-scope purchases, including advanced negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong customer orientation with reactivity and adaptability.
  • Good project process understanding with rigorous governance and process management.
  • Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and commitment with faultless ethics.
  • Team builder, providing credible supplier alternatives for tender/project managers.
  • Proven ability to work within international cross-functional teams.
  • Strong cooperation skills.
  • Ability to engage with the Management Committee.
  • Good business fluency, both oral and written in Greek and English.
  • Technical degree, preferably in electrical topics.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
