About the role:
As a Procurement & Sourcing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of procurement and strategic sourcing. You will support the procurement team in various activities such as supplier research, contract management, cost analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
What you will do:
During your internship, you will have the chance to try yourself out in several tasks in the field of procurement. We need our future intern's support in the following areas:
- Assist in identifying potential suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, and maintaining supplier databases
- Support the procurement team in analyzing market trends, conducting cost comparisons, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and contribute to the development of sourcing strategies
- Participate in the preparation and administration of procurement contracts, including reviewing terms and conditions and ensuring compliance
- Contribute to process improvement projects aimed at enhancing procurement efficiency and effectiveness
- Analyze & Support Reporting process
What we need from you:
- Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies in a university in Hungary; in the field of Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Possible commitment for at least 1 year with minimum 1 year active student status
- Advanced English and Hungarian language knowledge are must haves (both fluent speaking and writing), as you will be part of an international team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make meaningful recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges
What we offer:
- Flexible and hybrid working schedule: minimum 20-30 hours/week, with a possibility of home office
- You can start as soon as possible: we are looking forward for you to join our team!
- Working from home is possible, but please note that office presence can also be required (especially for training and specific projects)
- Gross salary: 1900 HUF/hour
- We provide a laptop/cell phone for your work
