What will you do?
- Support the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System for the production area/lines. Actively participate in design reviews for processes requiring MES deployment while giving on data collection and retention at each step. Lead integration of system design software for Manufacturing Execution Systems at facility. Guarantee an active technological watch in all areas of automation, robotics, industrial computing, and communication networks applicable to our products. Participate in the definition and drafting of functional specifications and process architectures of assembly lines (manual, semi-automatic and automatic)

- Design brand new standalone & Web based automated solutions for diverse processes among different functional areas
- Ensure the automation, connectivity (Edge control, MES, LDS, Analytics), implementation & qualification of the manufacturing processes in accordance with the Principles of SPS
- Development of appropriate software and process documentation including training of end users when needed.
- Migrate & document existing Digital Tools into a more robust Software Platform
- Perform failure analysis on software & equipment on a regular basis to implement cost effective improvements necessary to assure the highest possible process and equipment reliability
- Prepare procurement documentation including equipment & software specifications and coordinate equipment upgrades and / or installations with suppliers and internal personnel
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT Network infrastructure with new and existing systems
- Experience interfacing with product development, manufacturing operations, quality and finance functions
- Highly adaptable with the ability to research, learn and apply new skills quickly - Technical antenna for emerging technologies (AI/Robotics)
- Possesses a strong work ethic and sets high standards for quality and quantity of work
- Promotes data-driven decision making and consensus building

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 year in IT engineering or related fields, with exposure to Production environment
- Software development proficiency on at least 2 High Level Programming Languages
- PLC programming experience (Arduino) with sensors integration desired
- Proficiency in wireless networking, and network security
- Well-developed oral and written communication skill (Spanish Speaker desired)
- Ability to develop and accurately document processes & Source Code
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and PHP, C language is a plus
- Ability to read and understand electrical & electronic circuit diagrams as well as product specs & BOM's
- Strong organizational skills to complete multiple tasks concurrently are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic & team orientated environment
- Android OS knowledge
