What will you do?

  • Within the GSC Europe Deployment Team, , you will be part of new production means industrialization for our different projects: transfer, quality improvement, obscolescence, capacity increase ....
  • GSC means Global supply chain, we are a central team supporting all European plants to re industrialize machines for existing products (95% of our projects, but sometimes also for New product industrialization, delegated by Line Of Business).
  • As central team, we are involved with all the plants projects and so we can work on all Schneider products and process for manual to fully automatic high speed machines.
  • As project leader, you will manage functionally a team of experts to deliver to the internal customer the best industrial mean , with main KPI : lead time / performance / quality and costs.
  • The different processes than can be embedded on our lines are numerous: screwing, riveting, crimping, laser/ultrasonic welding, resistance welding, laser/inkjet marking, labelling, vision control etc.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Technical engineer with significant experience of at least 5 years and in one of the following areas within the manufacturing industry:
    • Industrialization of products (medium / large series)
    • Support for production in mass production plant (mechanical / mechatronic).
    • Realization of special machines, as project manager.
  • Your experience and your motivation allow you to be a reference in your fields.
  • You are capable of strong autonomy in a constrained environment with high business stakes. Your leadership allows you to make the voice of industrialization heard through the various project professions, your internal contacts in the factory, as well as suppliers.
  • The scope of actions, both for the management of suppliers and for the relationship with factories being European or even global, business trips are a large part of the job.
  • You are comfortable in written and spoken English and you are willing to travel. Around 30% of the time in average.
