Schneider Electric has an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Intern, based out of our Foxboro, MA site Summer 2025. As a member of the Hardware Center of Excellence, this role will focus on problem solving and CAD work to provide line support for current products. This could also include the opportunity to work with Design Engineers in the group on new concepts and designs. You will have exposure to real-life initiatives, projects and resume boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company.
What will you do?
- Revise CAD solid models and layouts
- Revise mechanical drawings
- Revise bills of materials of products and assemblies
- Support manufacturing with sustaining engineering
- Collaborate fluently and comfortably with remote teams in US, Europe and India

What qualifications will make you successful?
- Current Junior enrolled in a Mechanical or Robotics Engineering degree program
- Working knowledge of mechanical CAD tools and practices
- Working knowledge of drafting practices
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, tasks and demands
- Have a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure; persists despite obstacles and opposition
- Be able to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Be able to work independently, take initiative and complete tasks to deadlines as required
- Local to the Foxboro, MA Hub with ability to work in person 3 days per week.
