The Regional Marketing Specialist is skilled collaborator and leader who will play a major role in managing, planning and executing high quality programs for the South American region of our Digital Energy and Sustainability Businesses, primarily focused on Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile. You will be a a critical collaborator with our local sales, client management and operational teams to drive value-add activities ranging across thought leadership development, event management, lead generation, and sales enablement. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to join a highly engaged and effective team in a rewarding and rapidly changing market space. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, who enjoys gaining a deep understanding of the evolving marketplace and creating new and compelling tools to make our teams successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of local market trends and regulations, and how they influence our marketing strategy, leading our sales and marketing teams to provide unique and bespoke localized support across the region.

• Marketing & Sales Enablement Planning: Understand client needs, and assist in providing our sales teams with tools they need to build productive dialogues. These tools could include presentations, sales scripts, offer-related training, or training on new digital platforms to engage in digital relationship-building in our increasingly virtual world, and more.

• Campaign Localization: Work with the Services and Software Business content and sales enablement marketing teams to interpret and amplify significant global trends, such as the move to Net Zero, energy market volatility, supply chain decarbonization, and others. While campaigns may be global, the local nuances and regulations, along with the needs of the sales team, will drive implementation strategies, and creation of new, local assets.

• Content Creation: We are a nimble team, working with our experts in a fast-moving market. In this role, working independently or with a third-party agency, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity when designing engaging, attractive, effective pieces in a wide range of formats, within brand guidelines. These include advertisements, videos, social media assets, blog articles, presentations and identify emerging platforms and mediums. An eye for design, ability to create crisp value propositions, and to engage and educate through our content is key.

• Event Strategy and Support: Support and develop all event activity to provide a superior customer experience and meet business and growth objectives. This includes both Schneider Electric owned and third-party events in which we are exhibitors/attendees In these dynamic times, flexibility, agility and attention to detail helps us provide a best-in-class experience for our clients. This position will also be a regional champion for CVent, our new digital events platform.

• Measurement and Insights: Apply a test and learn approach to all marketing activity. Analyze existing data and historical trends in order to understand what is working best and adapt quickly, sharing your learnings with the team.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Constant interaction with internal / external stakeholders to ensure prompt alignment, timeliness and flawless execution of all marketing activity.

Qualifications

Do you have these key experiences and qualifications?

Qualifications - External

• Native Spanish language skills required. Fluent English required.

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years' experience, with a track record of delivering value and innovation in previous marketing roles

• Experience and interest in energy or services and software companies strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to drive GTM strategies, synthesize complex topics, create compelling value propositions and sales tools. Some mix of writing, design, and/or presentation samples must be provided.

• Exposure to event planning, including agenda development, logistics management, and an excitement for creating engaging and educational experiences

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred.

• Adobe Creative Suite Intermediate Skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere), Wordpress, Basic HTML

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

• Strong project management skills, with experience using workflow management platforms like Monday.com and Teams

• Preferred Location: Bogota, Colombia;

• Personal qualities such as: self-driven, passionate, collaborative, detail-oriented, perseverant, reliable, organized, curious and creative; excitement that the role will change significantly from day to day and month to month, based upon changing business needs in a rapidly evolving market.
