What do you get to do in this position?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Exercise hierarchical responsibilities and / or functional for heterogeneous teams in terms of technology and / or business (employment type) within the professional field to guarantee the performance of industrial processes (DT, IE, OEE, TTP ...).
  • Ensure management of service methods / maintenance in a unit and / or a specialized group.
  • Manage team members according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the Plant.
  • Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well-being.
  • Manage all Product & Process SPS techniques (Plant Layout, LADM, MPH, Ergonomics, etc.).
  • Owner of the SPS Cards 1A, 1C, 3B, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 5A, 6C, 6D, 8A for the Plant.
  • Ensure the maintainability of the production tool by implementing the TPM and associated skills.
  • Manage continuous improvement concerning line architectures, capacities, capability, time referential.
  • Identify the full potentials for medium & long-term improvements in all areas (Lean Diagnosis approach)
  • Ensure the profitability of investments adapted to the needs of optimization and development process.
  • Define the organization to implement for new project (or increase / decrease volume of production) to optimize DVC & MBC costs.
  • Guide the choice of designers by providing industrial and logistical requirements.
  • Direct and assign resources to create and maintain overall plant processes capacity / capability while ensuring safety & quality.
  • Identify needs and address actions to match equipment capacities against volume of production in mid and long-terms plans.
  • Procure and allocate resources on identified capital investments required to improve facilities, equipment, and or process utilization.
  • Lead design and optimization of warehousing processes including performance analysis and measurement (cost and service) and implement corrective actions.
  • Administer through a workflow and update the product master data base, in concordance with the product life cycle. Accountable for data consistency in information systems for Operations.
  • Lead & track CAPEX, OPEX & Cost Reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinate Engineering Changes Implementation.
  • Lead new or existing Product introductions.
  • Manage Test Engineering Area.
  • Responsible for Technical Antenna functions in the Plant.
  • Owner of the Training (DVC & NON-DVC / MBC) function for the whole Plant.
  • Ensure the transversal animation to get sustainability of SPS level in the plant (including implementation of actions plans driven by SPS assessment).
  • In charge of the continuous improvement of the whole process, both in Front-end & Core, ie from tendering to delivery.
  • Owner of Lean Manufacturing / Office & QVE initiatives for the Plant.
  • Lead Digitization, Process Automation, Smart Factory & Cybersecurity Strategy for the Plant.
  • Responsible for Building / Facilities Maintenance for the Plant.
  • Coordinate IT & OT Initiatives deployment in conjunction with Digital & Infrastructure Areas

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BSME or BSIE with 10+ years manufacturing engineering experience (MBA preferred).
  • Experience working with MRP Systems (AS/400 backbone fundamentals preferred).
  • Experience interfacing and cooperating with product development, manufacturing operations, quality & finance functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel highly desirable.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and sets high standards for quality and quantity of work.
  • Promotes data-driven decision making and consensus building.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in a low volume, high mix environment.
  • Bilingual a must.
