About Mission
In this role you will be a part of agile team to develop test strategy and automation scripts/framework for next generation software platforms. We are looking for highly motivated individual who has ability to work in platform development based on open-source Linux as operating system
Candidate should have both Master level knowledge and experience in test architecture ,designs and automation frameworks both at components and system level for middleware, services and application software based on linux.
As part of mission, you are responsible to deliver best solution to support our business team;
Primary Skills (Technical Competency):
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Strong experience in Experience in Python; Framework experience like LAVA, Robot Framework must.
- Expertise and Hands-on testing of wired protocols like: IPv4 /IPv6, DNS, DHCP, PTP, Syslog, Web Server, Cloud Technology OR Wireless Protocols
- Develop test scenarios and test cases for functional tests, regression, system tests, performance tests, robustness tests with minimum support from leader/expert
- Identify or develop new automation test and update framework
- Executing tests and generating reports, perform defects management with the tools like Jira
- Working in AGILE environment
- Work closely with product manager and taking part in estimation of tasks
- Identifying risks in test execution and plan for mitigations
Nice to have:
- Understanding of Virtual machines, Container technologies on Linux( Yocto)
- Working knowledge of web services, JSON, REST
- Working knowledge of continuous Integration and Devops
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum 6-10 years of experience Embedded Products platforms based on Linux and RTOS
B.E /B.Tech (EC/EEE/CS/etc) ; MCA or MSc Computers complete experience in above skills.
Languages: English (advanced) written and verbal
