Mission

We are looking for a motivated and skilled LCA and Sustainability Specialist to join our Cooling Innovation and Strategy team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing sustainability and environmental documentation. You will work closely with cross-functional and global teams, including engineers, sustainability experts, supply chain and procurement teams, as well as external stakeholders and suppliers, to ensure that our documentation meets company requirements and the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in life cycle analysis, contributing to sustainability and environmental efficiency improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct life cycle analysis (LCA): Develop LCA analyses and EPDs for cooling products, identifying environmental impacts and opportunities for improvement.
  • Data collection: Work with suppliers, partners, and internal teams to collect data needed for LCA analyses and sustainability evaluations.
  • Documentation creation: Write detailed LCA reports and EPD (Environmental Product Declarations) documents, and present analysis results to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the maintenance of EPDs and other sustainability/environmental information documents.
  • Collaboration & Cooperation: Work with product development teams to integrate Ecodesign practices into design and manufacturing.
  • Monitor environmental regulations: Stay updated on environmental regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and innovation.
  • Transfer knowledge: Support training on sustainability practices and the use of tools, becoming the company focal point for LCA tools and models.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Scientific background: Ability to analyze complex data and write clear and concise reports with scientific information.
  • Data processing, analysis, and reporting skills: Attention to detail, passion for numbers, and curiosity for experimenting with scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills: Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other professionals in the field. Good predisposition to work independently and in a team.
  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude: Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Continuous Improvement and commitment to Sustainability: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of sustainability processes and documentation.
  • Knowledge of EIME software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in preparing LCA studies is a plus.
  • Minimum 18 months of consulting experience preferred.


Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, environmental science, circular economy, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of LCA software (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA).
  • Knowledge of the LCA approach, ISO 14040, 14044, 14067, and management systems.
  • Prior experience in life cycle analysis, consulting, or a similar role.
  • The role requires direct and autonomous communication in English both internally and externally. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
