We are currently looking for a highly driven Key Account Manager to help us grow our business and identify new business opportunities both directly with clients and via virtual tools for our Electrical Distributor channel. In this role you will focus on developing our business with a set of Electrical Distributor customers through discovering their needs and matching our offers to those needs. You will be responsible for accelerating the transformation of your clients and boosting sales within the assigned customer base both through revenue developing as well as account management related tasks.

You will work with the Electrician and Contractor teams to ensure excellant coverage and visibility of the Schneider Electric portfolio in the Electrician and Contractor market. You will work in close collaboration with other channels as well as with Offer Managers, Marketing, Business unit leaders and international colleagues.

To achieve success in this role, you will implement the commercial strategy by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, proactively manage accounts and continuously improve customer data quality to ensure high satisfaction. In addition, you will maximize customer intimacy by understanding their priorities and effectively promoting Schneider Electric offers while identifying and addressing gaps in competitors' proposals.

What will you do:
  • As single point of contact, you will build relationships with an establsihed client base, understand their needs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated about industry and segment trends as well as competitor offers, including complete regular market and competition analysis.
  • Research accounts (account potential, up/cross-selling analysis) as well as identify, plan,and execute key initiatives including develop plans for prioritized customers.
  • Participate in contract negotiations, marketing activities and customer training planning.
  • Roll out customer programs such as promotion of benefits and partner recruitment activities.
  • Develop and maintain a broad understanding of the Schneider Electric products and solutions offerings by engaging in regular training and self-learning to ensure you can present our offers and promote campaigns to the customers in scope.
  • Maintain data, continually, for the Electrical Distributor Channel including customer information, platforming and document all customer interactions.

What will help you to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, eCommerce, technology and IT. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of degree
  • 3 to 5 years Account Management expereince. It is a benefit if you have Electrical Distributor market experience.
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of Account Management and digital engagement skills as well as how to capitalize on sales opportunities is considered a plus.
  • You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Finnish and English, with the ability to quickly build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Interest in technology and how to connect with customers in the digital age as well as have a strong understanding of the possibilities and limitations of digital transformation in business.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to be able to make data-based decisions.
  • You have a flair for human relations and have a positive and flexible go-getter attitude.
  • You are quick and eager to learn new things and not afraid of a challenge.
