In this pivotal role, you will act as the North America Transportation Subject Matter Expert (SME), spearheading initiatives in manufacturing, cross-docking, and distribution as we implement the ILC concept in our growing domestic supply chain.

o Manufacturing, Cross-Docking, and Distribution Strategy Options: Evaluate and recommend effective strategies for manufacturing processes, cross-docking operations, and distribution networks to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

o Technical Design Capability for Supply Chain Communication: Develop technical solutions for communication methods, including Advance Shipping Notices (ASN), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Application Programming Interfaces (API).

o Coordination of End-To-End Control Tower Supply Chain Visibility Milestones: Manage inputs and outputs for a centralized view of the entire supply chain.
  • Project Management: Oversee and track weekly progress on transportation strategic project milestones, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Operational Implementation: Manage tactical project milestones as a key member of startup teams, ensuring smooth execution.

Financial Alignment: Accurately calculate savings targets to align with financial reporting methodologies, contributing to overall budget accuracy.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other transformation teams to develop proactive strategies for upcoming supply chain changes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in Transportation Management, with both domestic and international shipment experience preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent in Spanish with advanced proficiency in English
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% during implementation periods, with 25% for ongoing project support.

Skills Required
  • Digital Transformation: Proven experience in leading digital initiatives in transportation.
  • Supply Chain Tools: Familiarity with TMS (Manhattan Global) and ERP systems (SAP & Oracle).
  • Diverse Transport Experience: Knowledge across various transport modes, including LTL, domestic parcel, full truckload, and international operations.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong collaboration, verbal and written communication skills, and project management abilities.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills for data mining and financial analysis, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Project Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams in logistics strategy.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of management accounting and budget control processes.
  • Business Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with operational support, manufacturing, and supply chain dynamics.
