Job Description
As our Industrial Automation Services - Offer Creation Team Manager your main role will be to lead our team of disruptive Offer Creation Managers, drive the main activities of the Innovation and Incubation Phases of our Offer Creation Process for Industry Services and in particular
- lead the team of offer creation managers in defining and executing the vision for new offers.
- conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- collaborate with R&D, offer management, marketing, and sales teams to develop and refine product concepts.
- create detailed product roadmaps and manage timelines to ensure successful releases.
- foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- define, implement and monitor the offer creation management processes and procedures.
- ensure adoption of the standard tools, like Aha!, Confluence, etc; across the team.
- validate new customer values & discover unmet needs.
- incubate, validate, and experiment the most promising offer concepts.
- drive & contribute to innovation campaign, hackatons, etc.
- leverage digitization & the complete full Ecostruxure story with some additional disruptive services.
- lead offer creation initiatives in your own Value Stream.
How
By incorporating the most powerful and proven techniques of Lean methodology for seamless development and fast time to market scale up such as
- Design Thinking, Value Proposition design
- Lean Start Up and Business Model Innovation
- Agile methodology and in particular scrum framework (epic definition, release prioritization, etc.)
By quickly experimenting new ideas, working closely with country organizations and customers, and understanding deeply customers pain points and how to solve them.
And this on various fields including:
- digital transformation (including operational excellence, asset performance & efficiency).
- digital & remote services.
- sustainability services including circular economy.
Location & Travels
- This position is located preferably in Foxboro, MA or Andover, MA. You will be expected to work in the office a minimum of 2 days a week when not traveling.
- Up to 20% US or international travel requirement based on current projects and customer needs.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field or experience
- MBA is a plus (in business or management)
Experience - MINIMUM REQUIRED:
- Fluent English mandatory (French and/or Spanish are a plus).
- 5 to 10 years' experience in offer exploration and incubation.
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Established knowledge on Digital transformation, Digital & sustainable services.
- Experienced in Agile frameworks in Software Development.
- Used to work in a cross functional / international environments.
- Design Thinking, Value Proposition design & Lean Start Up.
- Creative problem-solving mindset.
- Consultative and Solution Business.
