Group Compliance Lead - Policy, Regulatory & Awareness

The Group Compliance Manager is responsible for the "Policy, Regulatory & Awareness" component of the Compliance Program within the Group Compliance Team at Schneider Electric. This role involves overseeing Compliance policies, ensuring they align with ethical business conduct and local regulations. You will also lead transformation projects and promote a strong culture of integrity throughout the organization.

This position requires close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including the Group HR Compliance Officer, Regional Compliance Officers, Corporate Communication Team, Sustainability Team, Risk Management Team, Legal Team, and Subject Matter Experts.

o Develop, implement, and regularly update Compliance policies related to Ethical Business Conduct, Whistleblowing, and, in collaboration with HR compliance officer, HR Compliance regarding Workplace Violations.

o Ensure these policies are effectively deployed across the Group, making necessary adjustments for local languages and regulations.

o Provide clear guidance and support to Regional Compliance Officers and employees on the meaning and application of these policies and processes (gifts and hospitality, conflicts of interest, external activities...).

• Awareness & Engagement:

o Lead initiatives to raise awareness and engage employees on Compliance Policies across the Group, and drive effective engagement of the Ethics Delegates Community.

o Work closely with the Corporate Communications team and other stakeholders to create engaging materials and campaigns that promote a strong culture of integrity.

• Regulatory Obligations:

o Manage and track regulatory obligations, ensuring the organization complies with necessary legal requirements across all geographies where SE operates

o Monitor the performance of the compliance culture in collaboration with the Sustainability team, identifying areas for improvement.

o Stay informed about changes in legislation that could impact compliance policies and practices, ensuring timely updates are communicated to relevant teams.

• Mentorship & Management:

o Mentor and functionally coordinate a small team, which includes a full-time employee and two part-time apprentices.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Compliance, particularly in deploying compliance programs meeting with legal requirements, such as Sapin II law, US FCPA...

• Strong level of English (written and spoken)

• Excellent understanding of compliance policies, ethical business practices, and workplace regulations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.

• Organizational skills and project management capabilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Integrity, sense of confidentiality, and reliability are essential.

• Digital agility, curiosity, and an open mindset towards new ideas and technologies.

Reporting to the Group Compliance Program Director, the position is based in Rueil-Malmaison.
