Global Services are expected to grow twice as fast as the rest of the company. A critical enabler of supporting and accelerating this growth is robust commercial strategy. As a Leader of Global Services Commercial Strategy, you will have a unique & exciting opportunity to help drive profitable business growth by systematically developing commercial growth plans to accelerate revenue generation & growth of services & offers through right channels and in right markets. Customer centric focus is critical for ensuring we grow our digitally enabled recurring services and limit churn and in turn grow recurring revenue / ARR.

The role reports directly to Vice-President of Global Services Commercial Strategy & Marketing
Main Responsibilities include:
- Acts as a key content lead and project lead for strategic deep-dives
- Structures complex, ambiguous problems, diagnose them and define action plans
- Drives content, questions, analysis, storytelling, organization, cadence & pace
- Collaborates, hand-in-hand, with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinates various stakeholders to deliver findings within agreed timelines
- Applies business judgement to devise feasible and actionable recommendations
- Develop commercial growth plans; adapt for geographies:
- by channel: direct to end-users or through partners
- by project type: new customers or existing customers
- by revenue type: recurring (digital & traditional) or transactional
- by product / business type
- Drive Business Insights: Based on performance and market goals; feed into strategic plans
- Support other commercial pillars (global and country) to implement & execute commercial plans. Adapt based on customer / market insights.
- Drive customer platforming / segmentation & adapt attack plans
- Support operational and strategic activities
- Creates compelling presentations to share findings and continuously engage with key stakeholders to build & refine strategic alignment on where to play, how to win and how to execute
- Coach and develop younger team members
Qualifications
- Leadership - influence & convince & Accountability - full ownership with minimal oversight
- Minimum 7-10 years of work experience with focus on strategy / commercial growth function
- Prior experience in consulting or technology industry (e.g., software / hardware, IoT, Cloud), with focus on subscription type business model to generate predictable revenue streams is strongly preferred.
- MBA from a top business school preferably with an engineering degree
- Strong analytical skills: ability to screen and quickly absorb information on various topics from multiple sources and synthesize it to make meaningful recommendations
- Financially literate: able to review and interpret financial statements / reports
- Exposure to Energy Sector, Digital Transformations is plus
- Collaborative and a team player: driven but balanced, thoughtful and passionate about success of the collective team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Open-mindedness, actively listens to others, understands and values others' views
- Ability to connect with people easily, to win buy-in for proposed recommendations
- High level of maturity: ability to liaise with counterparts from different parts of the organization, including senior executives
- International, multi-cultural mind-set and approach
- Driven, self-starter with ability to execute in a fast-paced & constantly evolving global environment
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative and open to domestic and international travel as needed (20% - 30%)
- Other: excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills, and presentation writing skills, experience in project management tools a plus
- Executive level presentation skills and storytelling capability.
