Schneider Electric is seeking a talented and skilled Firmware Test Engineer to join our dynamic Firmware development team at our R&D Center in Kolding, Denmark. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the firmware development team to conduct firmware function, system integration and regression tests, and automation of tests on downscaled simulators and full-size real products. Your responsibilities will involve executing complex tests, contributing to test modifications, analyzing test results, and providing support to FW engineers during the issue-solving phase.

Your key responsibilities
- Design test cases to enhance test coverage and maintain test quality.
- Writes and executes Firmware tests (both manual and automated)
- Perform feature tests and system tests based on given requirements.
- Cooperation with developers on locating and analyzing defects closely, including Analysis of test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Deliver test report with high quality and timely.
- Improve test spec, methodology and procedures.
- Engage in an agile team environment.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Mechatronics or equivalent experience
- Experience in Python/C/C++ programming and debugging.
- Experience in the area of Continuous Integration and Git, Jenkins is plus.
- Proven experience in testing and validating power electronics or similar systems.
- Work Experience in Software Testing or Software Quality assurance.
- Proficiency in planning and conducting tests, with meticulous attention to detail, and experience in failure mode analysis
- Knowledge of 3-phase power conversion product or similar is plus
- Knowledge on UL1778 & IEC62040 is a plus
- Understanding of firmware development and its interaction with hardware.
