For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do in this position?
- Sales Enablement:
- Work with V1's, Federal Account Executives, and Schneider field offices in developing a strategy for driving IA business across the federal space.
- Assist in the creation of technical proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Stay informed of new Schneider product releases, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Serve as the go-to expert for V1's and Federal Account Executives on Industrial Automation products, services, and solutions.
- Customer Engagement:
- Participate in customer meetings and site visits, representing Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation business.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Develop customized solutions that meet specific customer requirements.
- Internal Collaboration:
- Establish, maintain, and leverage relationships within the Industrial Automation Business Unit to support the V1 global strategic account managers and federal account executives to drive "One Schneider" solution selling.
- Share customer feedback and insights to drive product development and improvement.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and go-to-market plans for the federal market.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation product portfolio (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VSDs, etc.).
- Experience with industrial control systems, automation solutions, and relevant software platforms.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., cybersecurity, safety).
- Customer-Facing Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to tailor technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build relationships and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with federal government agencies or customers a plus.
- Sales Support Experience:
- Track record of collaborating with sales teams to drive revenue growth.
- Understanding of the federal government procurement process and sales cycle.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Industry certifications (e.g., ISA, CISSP) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
