Are you an experienced, structured, and highly motivated Electronic Design Leader/Hardware Architect interested in making a change? We are seeking you to lead the development of Schneider Electric's Fire and Security systems Hardware, to join our collaborative team in Lund, Sweden.
Schneider Electric Digital Buildings Fire & Safety operations develops Intelligent fire control system solutions to help customers create a safe and reliable environment for its occupants. Our systems are mainly used in commercial buildings like Offices, Hospitals, Hotels, shopping malls and Airports.
We seek a person with solid experience in electronic design and system design.

You must like to take responsibility and ownership of a products entire lifespan, from idea through development, during mass production and when reaching EOL.
You will plan and lead the daily work for the electronics team but also have a basic understanding of mechanical design, embedded SW and production, and be comfortable to work close with project managers and product managers. You have to be able to both comfortably dive into design details and having an overview of an entire system.
Besides solving problems, designing and verifying the solutions you must also have experience from Product Data Management and revision control systems, Quality Processes, FMEA, Cyber Security and various electronic platforms in general. Fire systems have strict regulatory requirements so experience from MedTech or Automotive equipment development is an advantage.

Required skills and experiences
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of hands-on electronic design experience.
- Experience in leading teams, project planning and executing.
- Experience in developing equipment with extensive regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational-, prioritization- and time management skills.
- Be comfortable with fronting the team and represent us in various forums.
- Fluency in English, Swedish is a plus
