Main overview of what the job entails and aim towards
To lead and manage Skill development program under Schneider Electric India Foundation (SEIF) where the vision is to improve the skill gap in India, create livelihood and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth. The person will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring the skill development program in the Greater India Zone.
Responsibilities
As a knowledge and technology partner, SEIF's main contribution for the skill development program is Industry aligned course curriculum and standardized lab infrastructure wrt Electrical, Solar and Industrial automation. The person will be responsible for m anagement of Skill Development program under SEIF by implementing the best project management practices to meet the timelines, budget, and impact goals of the projects.

• Develop and implement self-sustainable operation model for our skill development program.
• Lead the development new curriculum and continuous upgradation existing curriculum aligned with industry need and consultation with stakeholders for maximum impact.
• Validation of course curriculum and lab infrastructure.
• Build partnership with Ministries, State government, govt entities related to skilling domain for scalability and sustainability of skill development program.
• Collaboration with corporate foundations /implementation agencies/NGOs with a common vision to create world class centers for skill development.
• Manage 500+ existing skill centres in India with close collaboration with partners.
• Board management- presentation, quarterly updates on targets, one on one with board members.
• Monitoring project milestones and budget adherence on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare a dashboard to monitor impact/efficiency of each skill centre monthly and chart out a plan for centres that are not operating as per the expectations.
• Enhance engagement of Schneider Employees through volunteering opportunities in CSR activities
• Responsible for internal and external communication about different activities of SEIF
• Contribute for curriculum update/development for trades like electrician, solar technician, industrial automation, low voltage breaker repair & maintenance.
• Collaboration with Global foundation for skilling projects, youth development, gender diversity, 21 st century skilling etc.
• Confirm adherence to India local commitments wrt CSR programs.
• Knowledge sharing with other geographies on our success stories.
• Organize various events related to CSR such as training centre inauguration, media events with help of various internal functions & external agencies.
• Drafting impactful success stories, award applications for communication purposes.

Essential: B.E / B TECH / ME MTECH in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / EEE with 10+ years of experience in handling Skill development projects.
Desirable- MSW from a premier institute
