The Business Developer is responsible for the end-to-end life of their offer, including defining desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable offers that meet customer needs and for supporting development across the entire offer lifecycle.

As the single representative for the offer in the organization, has the full 4P responsibility for defining value propositions, setting strategy, delivering value, setting pricing, and bringing the customer voice for their offer into the organization.

What will you do?

  • Definition of the product strategy and tactics following the 4P's of Marketing elements for successfully positioning the products in the market.
  • Building Marketing Fundamental including Identify Targeted Segment / Go To Market Strategy / Business Model by GTM / Offer Positioning by segment & customer / Price Positioning / Competition / Segment Value Proposition /Local Battle Cards
  • Leading Marketing operations including Annual Marketing Review (AMR), Annual Marketing & Sales Plan (AMSP)
  • Monitor Performance by Each individual offer and provide analysis and recommendations.
  • Drive Secure Power offers via Channels, working closely with channel team to boost Secure Power offer
  • Responsible for Offer Operational tasks including Pricing, Price List, Delta Price, Margin management, transactional business model, offer data management, webpage information, configuration tool deployment, SIOP for supply chain.
  • Work in collaboration with key channel and engineering partners to ensure that we support the opportunities you develop through the correct channels.
  • Promotional support of the product for sales and marketing communication
  • Design and management of marketing content and sales enablement for delivery to sales, customers, and channels.
  • Product launches and life cycle management. - Responsible for local certification required by the market
  • Analyzing product profitability and sales success to ensure the health of the product offering according to business strategy.
  • Competitive analysis: Good knowledge of key competitors and their products in the market. Good understanding of product battle card and able to train internal team.
  • Accurately highlight and forecast your funnel using our CRM tool Salesforce.com to bring greater efficiency between commercial and project delivery teams. Using the CRM fully track the opportunities from concept to delivery ensuring we are correctly resourced to support the account and supply chain partners are engaged.
  • Product availability and quality management.
  • Liaison with country internal teams including Marcom, Quality, Logistic, Tendering, Specifiers, Channels - Liaison with Factories to support the business operation - Liaison with BU to identify offer gaps and build offer roadmaps for the country
  • Be the expert of Secure Power relevant to the country, and responsible for sales training to build offer competence in the country
  • Grow our Edge application sales showing a demonstrable increase in our funnel / sales for 1Ph/3Ph UPS, racks & PDU's.
  • Develop your business understanding to ensure you are fully versed in our strategic initiatives and can articulate and sell our EcoStruxure story and the value it brings to the customers operations.
  • Work with your target segments to identify, understand and define their requirements, proposing and specifying Secure Power solutions that bring innovation and improvement to the account's operations.
  • Identify new business potentials of individual offer and build business case, present business to get management support, and drive the necessary action plan
  • Integrate global strategic initiative into Secure Power business strategy, identify action plan to support the strategic initiatives


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics specialization is preferred. Business degree is an asset but not required.
  • Strong business acumen, and experience with fundamental marketing concepts, tools & best practices.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or product management.
  • Ability to understand technologies and how they can be deployed to gain competitive edge.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey technical and marketing concepts simply and effectively.
  • High level of English business language. Capability to be autonomous in a technical discussion.
  • Exceptional relationship and rapport-building skills (Essential).
  • Ability to analyze customer satisfaction data & develop corrective actions.
  • Comfortable working as a team player with diverse groups in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Behaviors fully aligned with Schneider Electric's vision.
  • Open-minded, adaptable & fast learner. Capability to cooperate and influence positively in a multicultural and matrix-based organization.
  • Innovative and creative thinker.
  • Availability to travel over Spain and Portugal 10% of your working time.
