  • Lead and manage a team of OT/IT cybersecurity analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in OT security operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the cybersecurity posture of OT environments, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the monitoring, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents and threats affecting OT systems, ensuring effective incident management and resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including OT engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, to align cybersecurity efforts with operational requirements and business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain OT-specific cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry frameworks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of OT infrastructure, identifying and mitigating security gaps and weaknesses in industrial control systems and associated components.
  • Drive the development and implementation of OT cybersecurity awareness and training programs for OT and IT personnel, promoting a strong security culture across the organization.
  • Engage with external partners, industry forums, and regulatory bodies to stay abreast of OT cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and best practices

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's / Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Proven experience in cybersecurity management/leadership role, with a focus on protecting OT systems and industrial environments from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Deep understanding of operational technology (OT) systems, including industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and associated protocols and architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks, such as IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and industry-specific guidelines for critical infrastructure protection.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of cybersecurity professionals in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.

Desirable:
  • Professional certifications in cyber security (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, IEC 62443)
  • Membership and/or professional registration to any of the following institutes (e.g., IET, BCS, CIISec , TUV or international equivalents)
  • Experience in a wide variety of industry sectors (e.g., Energy, Pharma, CPG, WWW) with deep knowledge of OT systems specific to these fields.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning, with a keen understanding of emerging trends in OT security.
