Mission (About the Role)
As a Cybersecurity Governance Intern at Schneider Electric , you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting Schneider Electric's cybersecurity governance initiatives .
This internship is designed to provide exposure to the critical aspects of cybersecurity governance within Schneider Electric's global organization , offering a valuable learning experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals .
What will you do?
- Assist in the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity controls and compliance requirements.
- Participate in cybersecurity risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the enhancement of cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees.
- Assist in the review and analysis of cybersecurity governance frameworks and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cybersecurity governance initiatives across the organization.
- Contribute to the documentation and reporting of cybersecurity governance activities.
- And any other tasks as assigned by the Senior Cybersecurity Officer (East Asia Zone)
What qualifications will make you successful?
Education :
- Final year of Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk management, and Compliance.
- Knowledge of fundamental Cybersecurity principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
Skills/Systems K nowledge :
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, presentation and writing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
