Mission:

The UK&I Strategy Team supports the Strategy, Marketing and Sales teams with market and competitive intelligence. As the Corporate Strategy Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our use of internal and external insights to highlight opportunities and risks for the UK&I organisation. You will bring your experience in Corporate Strategy and a strong quantitative and structured approach to lead an analytical approach to assess key economic indicators and assess market and competitive evolution in the context of long-term trends (e.g. Schneider Electric megatrends).

Key responsibilities:

• Corporate Intelligence Data Strategy Development: Build and implement approach on how business intelligence and market and economic data can be leveraged to assess opportunities and risks in the UK&I Zone and individual Business Units.

• Competition Monitoring and Impact Assessment: Develop and maintain digital systems to monitor and collate sources of competitor information from internal and external sources, including sales and marketing teams.

• Market Monitoring & Forecasting. Create and own analytical approach to assess key economic indicators and market trends, collaborating with global teams and leveraging local data / business intelligence team to implement and upkeep approach.

• Reporting and Visualisation: Design and use BI tools and visualisations to merge quantitative and qualitative information to provide Awareness to general Schneider population, Insights to sales and marketing, and Action-based recommendations for executive consideration.

• Data and Tool Excellence: Champion a data-driven culture for strategic insight development. Lead the review of utilisation of tools and techniques used by the business for data capture, analysis and dissemination to ensure effective use of resources.

• Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders. Facilitate engagement with Senior leaders to understand their requirements. Collaborate with Strategic Projects and Government Affairs teams to create action plans from identified opportunities and risks. Collaborate with Data Hub and Business Analysts to build market insights tools for sales / marketing teams.

Skills and attributes:

• Critical and analytical thinking. Ability to evaluate data with a strong attention to detail, identifying patterns and summarises output into actionable risks and opportunities.

• Digital and Analytical Excellence. Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation of business intelligence.

• Effective Communication. Strong proficiency in written, verbal and visual communication, ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a timely manner.

• Collaborative. Proactively takes a cross-functional approach to problem solving, productively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

• Self-motivated. Ability to self-pace and work independently on projects or tasks.

• A strong interest in solving complex problems and developing knowledge about Schneider's role in accelerating the Energy Transition.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate strategy role, preferably within energy, manufacturing or engineering

• Proven track record of delivering impact through executive-level reports and presentations.

• Good understanding of digital and analytical tools, comfort with Excel and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, BI).
