Key Responsibilities:

Our goal is to position Schneider Electric as the leader in technology by educating and providing value added solutions, to meet customers' sustainability, efficiency, and safety needs. We do this by presenting our solutions to consultants in conjunction with our sales channels, to deliver the owner's vision.

The Consultant Solution Architect (CSA) role is an exciting technical and business development position , working with a diversified team at the forefront of building technology and design. Working with consultants, designers, and architects you will generate new customer business opportunities by developing sustainable, efficient, and secure solutions, utilizing our integrated technology platform called EcoStruxure.

Qualifications:

Most of the new work will be performed at the specifier's office over lunch or breakfast and there will be extensive regional travel for this position (40-70%). The CSA's must be able to articulate and present technology solutions and product positioning to technical specifiers and follow up with reoccurring visits to build trusting relationships.
  • Experienced in HVAC controls involving mechanical systems and information technology industry.
  • Exposure and understanding of the construction industry and technology.
  • Long track record in business development, networking, and relationship building.
  • Familiarity with the value chain players and their interactions (GC, Design Firm, End User, etc.)
  • Experience in technology solutions for multiple market segments.
  • Willing to travel to meet our clients' demand - currently around 50% travel.
  • Ability to work remotely and efficiently from home or Branch office with our team.
  • Able to build relationships across diverse locations and backgrounds, foster teamwork, and collaboration both internally and externally .
