What do you get to do in this position?

This position located in Monterrey, MX, is accountable for cash collections in JD Edwards, My DSO Manager and Customer Portals in an accurate and timely manner. They will be joining a fast-growing department in the ASCO/SE USA Collections group.

Essential Functions in Collections:

• Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively with the customers (written & verbal) in English

• Successfully manage accounts receivable portfolio and collect on accounts past due

• Strategize collection activities to maximize cash receipts

• Establish and maintain accounts receivable communication with customers through phone and or e-mail

• Communicate with customers to attempt to bring resolution to unpaid accounts

• Document all accounts receivable communications on the internal system for collections including coding of customer disputes and promise to pay

• Meet defined process targets and activity metrics

• Assist the Accounts Receivable Supervisor with monthly and weekly ad hoc reporting activities

• Helping in high-level negotiation with delinquent B 2B customers by calling, sending reminders, dunning Letters, delinquent notices to overdue accounts via email

• Ensure prompt, same-day payment applications and quick resolution of any discrepancies in payments. (i.e. credits, charge backs etc.)

• Follow up with collections and allocation of unapplied credits or payments

• Investigate and resolve customers non-payments, short payments and or disputes

• Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement

• Participate in team planning meetings

• Work and maintain with KPI's on a monthly basis

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

This job might be for you if You fit the following Requirements :

- Education Required: Bachelor' s degree; Accounting, Finance, Business Administration preferred business or similar experience

- Experience Required: 1 year in Collections

- JD Edwards experience preferred or related ERP systems.

- MY DSO Manager experience desired but not required

- Language: English is a MUST

- Excel required
