Our Services team serves Schneider Electric's installed base customers across broad range of segments including hospitals, utilities, data centres and just about everything in-between. Our established customer base is growing as we continue to partner with our customers in a variety of contracts and servicing arrangements. With a product range that spans the breadth of Schneider's Electric's services, we enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.

Our Services team are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to be based in Brisbane. Utilising your proven skills and experience, you will deploy your passion for outcomes as you manage existing Customers across our Services portfolio. You will take a long-term view to key Customers and Accounts as we gear up for an exciting period of growth within a market that is full of opportunity.

With the support of our Leadership team, you will be empowered to work in an environment that will include a mix of time in the office and valuable face time with Customers. With the opportunity to enjoy flexible hybrid working arrangements, this is a key role that will see you make an Impact with the team at Schneider Electric.

This exciting new career opportunity will see you:

  • Maximise orders, profitability and Customer satisfaction within your territory and assigned accounts for a broad range of technical products and services
  • Form maintain key relationships as you focus on high levels of Customer Service
  • Develop and execute an Annual Sales Plan as you provide proactive Account Management and identify new business opportunities
  • Educate Customers on offers, products, and services (e.g., including recurring and other emerging digital offers)
  • Provide key information to our Tender Teams in preparation of Sales Quotations and Bid Proposals
  • Focus on sales/pipeline forecasts and account planning in line with key Reporting milestones
  • Regular travel throughout the Queensland region


Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven Technical Sales background coupled with experience in a similar position (Account Manager or Business Development Manager), ideally within Electrical or adjacent IT markets
  • A consultative style and experience selling to a diverse range of Customers
  • True growth focus coupled with the curiosity to learn and the desire to make an Impact
  • A digital mindset with proven skills in MS Office and previous experience in utilising a CRM
  • Those with knowledge of Schneider Electric Offers, an Electrical Trade / Electrical Engineering or Industry background will be viewed favourably
