For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640 - $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Digital Power Services Engineers at Schneider Electric combine their deep technical expertise of electrical equipment, electrical systems, network communications and their passion for customers to improve the performance and reliability of our customers' electrical systems by leveraging the EcoStruxure Asset Advisor for Electrical Distribution analytical platform.
EcoStruxure Asset Advisor is a suite of cloud-based electrical asset management software and digital services, enabled by connectivity, sensor technology, and analytics, for critical electrical distribution equipment. It evaluates live data from critical connected assets and applies advanced analytics to identify potential failure modes.
What do you get in this position?
- Helps customers maximize uptime, improve maintenance, and reduce costs through remote monitoring of critical connected assets
- Extracts meaningful insights from data flows
- Interprets and contextualizes results of platform analytics and algorithms
- Identifies maintenance recommendations of short-term mitigation actions and medium/long actions for system improvements
- Tracks health of assets, including condition-based analytics and event-based monitoring. Informs connected customers and adjust maintenance plans accordingly.
- Interacts with a network of Subject Matter experts for advanced support in asset health analysis.
- Creates consultancy summary reports and shares these findings with connected customers. Provides explanations and recommendations during remote consultation sessions.
- Interacts with customers and provides remote troubleshooting as needed (via phone, email, remote connection, etc.)
- Acts based on customer requests to dispatch a Field Services agent
- Work closely with our direct and indirect North America sales force for service or product quotations and to manage customer relationship and satisfaction
- Issue tracking by entering cases in our Customer Relationship Management tool (bFO).
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Power Systems or equivalent or relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years experience (5+years preferred) in the field of electrical systems, distribution, and engineering.
- Analytical abilities with a high degree of proficiency in working with data. Ability to process and interpret predictive/conditioned-based analysis data.
- Service experience with power, power monitoring equipment and industrial applications
- Solid knowledge of electrical distribution systems and proficiency with one-line diagrams and other service documents
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
- Quick learner with an inquiring mind, interest in gaining knowledge in various domains.
- Customer-focused mindset
- People-person and team player, enjoying the cross-functional interaction with relevant stakeholders
- Attention to details
- Ability to effectively time manage time and remain organized across multiple activities.
- Ability to occasionally travel to various customer sites in North America.
Desirable
- Understanding of electrical industry standards
- On-site or remote advanced technical support experience
- Controls or transformer protection experience
- Experience with CRMs, Salesforce preferred
- Bilingual: French or Spanish an asset
