Digital Power Application Center's Team is looking for a Power Application Engineering Specialist Intern to help us deliver our customers' expectations regarding their Power Management Systems.

What will you do?
Power Monitoring and Control Solutions:
- Collaborate with Power Application Engineering Specialists and project managers in the configuration of the components/solutions for projects.
- Preconfigure Energy Management and SCADA solutions including its various modules.
- Support project document creation, including system communication architectures for either Project Tendering stage or actual project execution phase.
- Support document creation for technical trainings.

Other important administrative Tasks:
- Assist in acquiring and monitoring equipment for our team labs.
- Help maintain traceability of technical and safety gear assets.
- Support the implementation of quality, safety, and cybersecurity practices during project execution.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- You're currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or any technical field, or a related discipline.
- Metering, Controls and PLC experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of power monitoring and control systems and power distribution systems (LV and MV) is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a group or independently.
- General programming skills (Python, Visual Basic, C++, C#, etc) is an asset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with engineering tools and software is a plus.
