For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do?
- Conceptualize system architecture using EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly known as Unity Pro) PLC logic applications and develop Control Philosophy/Sequence of Operations (SOO) documents to control building process automation (BMS) at customer data centers.
- Work on challenging issues where analysis of situations or data may require an evaluation of intangible factors.
- Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions, estimates or results.
- Provide engineering support or leadership for projects.

- Advanced communication skills, must be able to collaborate with Consultant/End-User, Contractors & internal/External design team,
- Ability to support / assist other Engineers and function as Technical Lead
- Advanced Knowledge on HVAC (Air process, Water process and Chilled water systems)
- Ability to identify needs from prerequisite documents (consultant IFC Control Drawing, Raiser diagram, signal/points list/ panel electrical design, GC Mechanical/Electrical Design)
- Operational Management (EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly known as Unity Pro), Vijeo Designer, "C++", C#, Phyton, Visual Basic)
- Programming Logic Design skills (Structured Text, Ladder, DFBs, DDTs, Boolean)
- IEC Modbus industrial communication protocol, Controls and Connectivity (PACs, Industrial networks, Ethernet Networks)
- Field Devices knowledge (AHU, FCU, VaV, Exhaust Fan, CO Sensors, VFDs, ATS, Gray Water pumps, Chilled Water pumps, Actuators (M580 PAC Panel, M580 HSBY, HMIs, etc.)
- Manage integration of the PLC with various third-party systems (Fire Alarm, access control system, Lighting control, MV/LV, communication room, etc.)
- Electrical and Control Drawings (field I/O, power distribution, etc.)
- Sequence of Operation writing proficiency
- P&ID Loop Control
- Derived Function Block (development and application)
- Derived Data Type Management
- Change management and rev control
- Commissioning and Test Script proficiency
- Capable of troubleshooting PLC Code
- Familiarity with SCADA and/or HMI platforms
Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites (approximately 30%)

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and commissioning BMS system and/or PLC/Process Automation applications, especially with Schneider Electric products.
- Project experience with the following areas of project engineering: functional and detailed specifications, systems development, code generation, implementation, testing and commissioning.
- Experience writing industrial control applications.
- Experience with industry standard communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP and Ethernet IP, BACnet
Experience with integrating devices from multiple vendors into a packaged solution - Experience with Industrial and Building Management System applications.
- Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware
- Knowledgeable in computer programming languages (VB, C#, C++)
