Schneider Electric is in need of a Application Design Engineer Intern in our Raleigh, NC location for the Summer 2025.
As an intern in the Centre of Excellence (COE) in Morrisville, NC, you will support the regional development of libraries and assist with debugging and testing. You will work closely with our pre-sales customer-facing Architects to help execute projects using Schneider Electric's Next Generation Automation Platform, EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE).
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Development: Assist in demonstrating EAE features and functionality to help customers with their applications and projects. Participate in workshops to promote EAE and help customers understand design and execution on EAE.
- Customer Engagement: Help implement and test performance of customer architectures to demonstrate effectiveness and reduce risks. This may include site visits to support customers and sales teams as needed.
- Library Development: Contribute to the development of key library elements (CATs) to enhance customer projects and improve their experience with EAE.
- Feedback and Documentation: Document processes and changes made during customer engagements. Help create use cases and success stories from projects to share knowledge and best practices.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT Programming, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- A keen interest in automation solutions and programming is essential.
