Introduction to the job
ASML/HMI brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography & metrology machines, as well as computational lithography & control software products. Metrology application design engineer is responsible for product development by high resolution e-beam systems, providing holistic control solution for advanced nodes in semi-conductor industries.
Role and responsibilities
- Perform feasibility studies to access performance of e-beam metrology system functionalities, defining metrology application product specification.
- Be responsible for functional design and performance evaluation on application products, collaborating with different ASML sectors on holistic solution for process control.
- Generate and maintain script tooling for design of experiments, enabling efficient performance evaluation and trouble-shooting.

- B.S and above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physic, Material Science.
- Hands on experience on data science and analytics.
- Knowledge of semiconductor and SEM theories.
Skills
- Script level programming skills, including Matlab and Python.
- Ability to communicate with counterparts efficiently on project work.
- Good team player to drive product development with stakeholders
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
