CO Salary Range: USD 22.00 - 27.00 per hour
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $22 - $27 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.
The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This position is a Construction Intern position within the Energy and Sustainability Services Division of Schneider Electric. This position will include entry-level construction site supervision reporting to the Project Manager and Site Superintendent for mechanical, electrical and/or controls installation tasks associated with identifying and improving the energy efficiency and building system operations.

Primary Duties:
- Assist the Project Team to manage and supervise all subcontractors and associated work and personnel
- Increase understanding and apply Schneider's Construction Site Safety requirements
- Attend scheduled project coordination meetings with customer and subcontractors
- Identify, capture, and proactively report scope risks & issues
- Assist with managing and overseeing all project work activities and degrees of complexity on Project Site
- Follow all activities and apply site management best practices
- Building and maintaining positive, professional relationships with inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, and customer representatives involved with the project
- Attend customer meetings for all scopes of work
- Assist with assembling project closeout documents (O&M Manuals, warranty, substantial completion letters)

Qualifications:
Enrolled in Construction Management or Engineering coursework
Interest in mechanical/electrical/civil construction
Experience with and focused interest in sustainability, mechanical, electrical, or HVAC control systems
First Aid / CPR certification desired or ability to obtain within 30 days
Valid driver's license

- Approximately 75% travel to project sites via automobile as needed
- Exposure to active construction site conditions and varied construction activities
- Daily exposure to outside weather conditions
- Exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment, equipment rooms
- Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday depending on project requirements.
- Special project circumstances may offer additional working hours on weekends when scheduled in advance.
- Daily work hours could vary to support the project plan.
- Local travel by transit or personal car to the project site(s)
