The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is an independent nonprofit organization authorized by Congress in 2010. Its mission is to fund research that will provide patients, their caregivers and clinicians with the evidence-based information needed to make better-informed healthcare decisions. Position Summary

The DIGITAL, Office of the Chief Information Officer department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Document Management Intern to join our team.

Our intern will have the opportunity to:

  • Organize and maintain a document database, as well as assist and learn how to train and document software processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in document management and software training.

Pay Range and Employment Status:

Interns shall be classified as temporary employees who are hired as interim replacements, to temporarily supplement the workforce, or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work for a limited duration. Employment beyond any initially stated period does not in any way imply a change in employment status. Temporary workers are not eligible for PCORI benefits.
  • Bachelor's hourly pay: $17.50
  • Master's and above hourly pay: $20.00

Required Experience

Ideal candidates will be pursuing their undergraduate education in Project Management, or Instructional Design.
  • Background in Instructional Design and training.
  • Experience working with software development and deployment are ideal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of database management and software documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Summer Internship End Date - August 8, 2025
