Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Establish the partnership strategy for Santander and develop a pipeline of partners for Santander banking and lending products.
  • Hire and lead a high performance team that delivers against the strategy.
  • Source and manage distribution partnerships for all co-branded products (deposits and lending). Prepare pitch decks and manage responses to RFPs.
  • Coordinate product design, commercial terms, launch timelines, contracting and ensure that business success criteria are met.
  • Identify and commercialize key capabilities from 3rd parties that will help build product features for soon to be launched digital bank.
  • Manage aggregators relationships and product roadmap for lending and card products.
  • Work closely with Santander Group's global innovation centers and Global partnership teams in identifying and pursing opportunities in US.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior experience in BD/Partnership roles in banking and financial services and ability to manage several parallel sales cycles.
  • Product development and GTM strategy experience for lending and deposit products.
  • Knowledge of High Yield Savings card, loans, loc P&L, unit economics and vintage level metrics.
  • Advance knowledge of emerging capabilities and technology that can be commercialized within Santander.
  • Expertise in managing lending and cards distributions through aggregator channel.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required: Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Economics. Master's Degree preferred.

Work Experience:
12+ Years of experience within Financial Industry in Product development, BD, general management roles.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$172,500.00 USD

Maximum:

$310,000.00 USD
