KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Formulate marketing strategy for responsible products, develop and enforce annual marketing plan to maintain Sanofi Vaccines as a leading player of the industry ;
  • Participate in designing and updating long-term strategic plans (CSPs) and, work with the management to define and tailor in a timely manner strategies for product marketing based on business situation;
  • Formulate and enforce annual marketing plans; provide brand portfolio strategy across all channels;
  • Formulate marketing strategies for private and public market;
  • Cross functional engagement to ensure critical elements built in brand strategy, including PAMA (Access and Pricing strategy), Medical, Sales, Franchise (bridge short term to long term strategy);

  • Collect and analyze market data, avail adequate market research results to identify the needs of different customers and transform such needs into market strategies and action plans;
  • Establish long-term brand image of the company and implement effective marketing programs and promotion activities, ensure proper strategy to execution level in each channel, including proper resource allocation by channels.
  • Manage responsible products, keep a good relationship with the customers and relevant institutions and ensure high-quality enforcement of defined business plans and marketing plans
  • Fulfill cooperation among different departments, and promote the implementation of marketing plans and promotion activities in accordance with defined goals, timetables and standard
  • Provide full-range support for product marketing activities in the following ways to deliver expected results: Effective management in all stages of responsible product life cycles;
  • Formulate marketing strategies for private and public market;
  • Develop new channels and marketing plans for business development and evolution of operating models;
  • Forecast changes on external market and formulate appropriate plans to provide consulting with regard to major strategic changes and other most important issues for the management; able to anticipate opportunities and risks to translate industry insight to what is the implication to Sanofi business;
  • Monitor competitor products closely and adjust market strategies for related products in a timely manner;to impact on revenues, recognize and improve competitive opportunities, and Lead and coordinate all pre-launch and launch efforts across China and GBU stakeholders

  • JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

    Education
    • Bachelor's degree (or above) in marketing Medicine or related field or related fields of expertise, preferably with the degree of MBA

    Experience & knowledge:
    • At least eight years of work experience in brand management
    • Familiar with existing laws, regulations and policies on pharmaceutical products and bio products
    • A solid body of work experience and practical knowledge in market research, product marketing and market promotion activities among others
    • Transversal Leadership - In Depth Knowledge
    • Strategic Planning - In Depth Knowledge

    Core competencies:
    • Independent working as a brand owner responsible for brand P&L and strategy development
    • Able to travel frequently based on business request in the requirement.
    • Able to understand the product objectives and plans
    • Have a solid working knowledge of market research, product sales and sales promotion activities
    • Able to analyze data, to evaluate promotional/tactical activities and to prepare marketing plans
    • Cross-functional and global-local working ability-Wide arrange knowledge from product later stage development, registration, clinical, market assess, policy shaping and marketing strategy knowledge
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to deliver reports, to make public presentations and to deal eloquently with opinion leaders, the sales force and Management Team;
    • Excellent transversal leadership capabilities
    • Good knowledge of computer software
    • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
