The summer Intern role in the Sanofi Vaccine, Manufacturing, and Supply within the FFIP section involves supporting the Formulation and Filling within the Continuous Improvement team. This includes tasks such as Manufacturing support, managing small equipment projects, and conducting data analysis.

The summer intern will work in the Sanofi Facility located in Swiftwater, PA.

Key responsibilities may include:
  • Manufacturing support and troubleshooting, data analysis and small-scale studies.
  • Provides Continuous Improvement support for the factory. These are small/medium individual projects to improve OEE, Deviations, Yield, etc.
  • Support the component qualification, OEE improvement, and general factory improvements.
  • Assisting process monitoring personal in collection and organizing the shop floor data for continuous process monitoring activities, such as excursion and APR reports.
  • Collaborating with Sr. engineers to support implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Learn and support Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS) 2.0 activities and projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, mechanical, and/or other applicable engineering program at an accredited college or university, with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of Spring 2027
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.
  • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40 hrs./week for the full duration of the internship/co-op
  • Must have permanent US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, teamwork abilities, excellent communication, adaptability, organizational and analytical skills, and a strong interest in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industry.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
