Job purpose

This role is responsible for the creation and implementation of an engagement and communication plan for Sanofi's Budapest hub (such as: engagement concept, event roadmap, communication plan, Hub onboarding concept, hub visit framework, etc.) to create a sense of belonging and ignite our employees by connecting to Sanofi's purpose. To help them understand Business Operations' vision, how it aligns to the Play to Win Strategy of the company and the role the hub teams play as catalysts of change to modernize Sanofi's ways of working. To improve the visibility and reputation of the hub towards external audiences with the clear purpose to attract talents.

The role strongly contribute and partner to Budapest hub communication and engagement activities, reports to the Head of Hub Communications and Engagement and collaborate closely with the hub engagement partners, the hub leadership team, Global Head of Communications, Business Operations, as well as People & Culture (e.g; Employer Branding) and other (functional) key stakeholders, such as country Corporate Affairs.

A key factor for the success of this role will be the creation and adaptation of internal and external communications platforms and events to foster meaningful engagement with Hub employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop communications and engagement roadmap and plan

  • Develop and implement communications and engagement plan aligned to global communications & engagement strategy for Business Operations and business priorities

  • Own and maintain a full suite of dedicated Hub communications tools and channels (internal social media, mailbox, intranet, webcast, events, etc.) to ensure effective & timely delivery of communications across the Hub

  • Seek opportunities to collaborate with Country/MCO Corporate Affairs team to ensure appropriate inclusion and positioning of Hubs stories into the overall Sanofi internal plan and editorial calendar (contribute to regular news flow of articles, regular participation in editorial discussions and decision-making)

Support Budapest Hub to keep employees engaged & attracting best talent Collaborate with the Hub Leadership Team to identify the success stories and outcomes that exemplify the transformation, the business successes and the Sanofi values

  • Support to Leaders of Hubs regarding communications and employee engagement opportunities

  • Co-create communications plans for strategic change programs in close collaboration with the Hub LT.

  • Craft and execute an external communication plan that enhances the company's public image and reputation within the shared service sector.

  • Partner with Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition team to bring the Employer Brand strategy to live for the hub, in alignment with the Global Sanofi Employer Branding and EVP strategy (career page, Talent value proposition, EB-TA plan / hubs)

  • Collaborate with the Country Corporate Affairs teams to identify opportunities and define messages to represent the Sanofi Hubs in their respective locations.


Co-create an engaging and inclusive culture in the hub

  • Develop initiatives and projects to boost local hub engagement, aligned with global Diversity & Inclusion and social impact goals.

  • Lead and execute a full CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) plan for the hub, including the We Volunteer platform and Employee Resource Group (ERG) activities. Build and inspire CSR communities across the hub by actively engaging colleagues. Manage associated budget, programs & deliverables

  • Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the success of communication and engagement initiatives

  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to Head of Hub Communication and Engagement and to Hub Head.


About you

Experience and skills:

  • Proven experience in a global or regional Communication position, ideally in GBS environment or multinational company. Change management experience is a strong plus.

  • Ability to counsel and interface successfully with senior executives and peers, in complex, matrixed organizations

  • Ability to take complex information and strategic projects and create clear communications recommendations and plans and to drive their implementation

  • Ability to work in transversal, network mode

  • Proven ability to act wisely under pressure, and in ambiguous settings

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to work quickly, prioritizing multiple initiatives, while being flexible to changing needs and priorities

  • Results-oriented and willing to challenge the status quo

  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills

  • Ability to manage budget and timelines


Technical skills:

  • Digitally savvy - Very good working knowledge of digital communication channels and tools


Education:

  • Master's degree in economics, communications, or international relations

  • Advanced degree in relevant field welcome


Languages: Native English or equivalent, both written and spoken. Other language is a plus.
