Sanofi Canada operations focus on four therapeutic areas: General Medicines(diabetes, cardiovascular, arthritis, transplant, and thyroid cancer); Specialty Care(rare diseases, rare blood disorders, oncology, immunology, multiple sclerosis); Vaccines(manufactures, formulates, fills, inspects and/or packages vaccines and biologics, protecting against 20 infectious diseases including pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus and influenza); and Consumer Healthcare(pain care, allergy, digestive health, personal care).

The Head of Marketing, Established Products, Canada, leads the development and implementation of innovative business models for Diabetes, Cardiovascular & OA, focused on enhancing customer and patient outcomes. Overseeing approximately €100 million in estimated sales, the job holder is required to generate new efficiencies of the Growth Portfolio franchise in Canada to deliver new Business value. Unlocking new opportunities with an aim to improve customer experience and to drive growth.
The job holder will focus mainly on driving the Gen Med customer-centric transformation. A critical role in "connecting the dots" towards one roadmap to further modernize our go to market and customer engagement models.
Main Responsibilities:
Execute Strategy & Organizational Plan for Growth Products
- Differentiate our Growth Portfolio offer through strengthening company reputation in Diabetes & Cardiovascular fields and demonstrating commitment through each patient profile with Sanofi Portfolio and solutions.
- Tailor global franchise strategy into a region-specific implementation plan
- Optimize the diabetes and cardiovascular product portfolios.
- Design creative go-to-market strategies that utilize omnichannel methods to improve the customer experience.
- Ensure optimal resource distribution within the Play to Win framework.
- Track the execution of action plans with both short-term and long-term performance indicators.
- Develop and execute cohesive brand strategies across all channels.
- Expand Reach opportunities while keeping high standards in engagement quality.
- Leverage global campaigns localization to drive business and customer outcomes.
- Reinforcing and leading customer segmentation and personas as base for integrated customer journey.
- Agile Transformation of the organization that encompass news ways of working implementation.
- Lead implementation of transformation initiatives & ensure the cascade of our go to market change story.
Financial Performance and Market Development
- Achieve financial performance in line with budget goals, including sales, BOI, and OPEX management.
- Drive profitability and long-term sustainability by overseeing the development of both short- and long-term financial plans, and ensuring commitment to these targets.
- Collaborate and align cross-functional projects and initiatives with key internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the portfolio supply planning exercises.
- Resource allocation exercise to drive the Growth Portfolio vision and Business Operating Income target across the Long-Range Plan. Integral part of the full portfolio P&L management.
Management, Leadership and People Development
- Leadership and development of the diabetes and cardiovascular marketing team
- Promoting, through leadership, the values of Sanofi Canada and the specific vision/ambition of the General Medicines organization.
- Creating an inspirational environment that fosters learning, entrepreneurial spirit, teamwork, empowerment, passion, respect, and trust.
Maintain Compliance
- Abides by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company.

- Strengthen company internal controls.

About You
Key Requirements:
Education / Experience
- A minimum of 5 years leading successful commercial teams
- A graduate degree in business or related discipline
- Experience in similar or comparable role.
- Experience should be in the following areas:
- Marketing
- Commercial Excellence / BO&S
- Field experience an asset.
- Cross-functional work
- Project management / Agile
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Finance management.
- Marketing
- Strong leadership, leading by influence and in complex environment.
- A strategic and thoughtful risk-taking ability.
- P&L experience with resource allocation initiatives or demonstrated capabilities to understand where to play.
- Talent experienced in transformation projects and /or change management would be a plus.
- Project Management proficiency in an agile methodology / new way of working
- Analytics expertise & tech. basics (support KPI consolidation & analysis, identify pain points & solutions, classify infrastructure & mindset requirements)
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to leverage networks & empower people.
- Ability to lead change while achieving business goals & objectives - challenge the status quo.

Language:
- English: Advanced - Excellent Knowledge
- French: Preferred - Strong knowledge an asset
Travel:
- Travel may be required up to 10-20%
Computer Knowledge:
- Self-sufficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Use of project management tools a plus
