As a Global Events and Engagement Process Lead, you are the single point of contact for all questions regarding the process, initiation, and execution of any type of events and engagements which includes HCPs, HCOs, patient association groups, donations, and grants. You provide training and creation of appropriate materials including SOPs and working instructions. You continuously identify relevant KPIs that help to oversee compliance relevant standards are being met. You are up to date with regulations and compliance relevant requirements and implement those as appropriate.

Main responsibilities:
  • As an experienced stakeholder engagement and events professional with a huge interest in compliance related topics you make sure that processes and job aids are developed and maintained.
  • With your great conscientiousness and attention to detail, you ensure continuous improvement, compliance and simplification of processes related to events and engagement activities, grants and donations, and provide expertise on these processes to support cross-functional teams in developing tools and systems in compliance with regulations.
  • You work closely with EBI, digital, and business teams to ensure compliance which includes trainings on processes of all involved teams via LMS and other tools and channels.
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally and in an international structure and enjoy pursuing simplification.
  • In your scope you monitor that compliance KPIs are met and the processes are implemented worldwide.
  • You are a special matter expert in audits and inspections and work closely with EBI, digital, and business teams to ensure compliance which includes trainings on processes of involved teams via LMS and other tools and channels.

About you
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in global roles within Biotechnology or Pharmaceuticals, with strong exposure to Medical and Commercial activities and global process management knowledge. Some experience in internal controls/audits/inspections and respective KPI tracking.
  • Strong collaboration, conceptual and innovation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to drive change within a global organization, cultivating support

  • champion strategic change initiatives and promote adoption of best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Project/Program management capabilities
  • Experience in managing vendors and external business partners
  • Understands the impact of change and impact to the end user
  • Conflict resolution, and ability to facilitate decision-making, negotiation skills
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Customer focus; interpersonal savvy with respect for people
  • Studies in natural sciences, or in life sciences
