Main responsibilities:
In this role, you will mainly focus on Site Supply Planning, people management, process excellence as well as planning system adoption to ensure close collaboration within the Sanofi network, efficient Supply Chain standards and transparency and data-driven decision making.You will :
- Lead the implementation of a new GBU Supply Planning organization at Sanofi, managing a team of 20-30 members and overseeing supply planning activities across a 3-36-month horizon. Optimize resources and assets within the GBU footprint, to achieve optimum outcome, as a dedicated counterpart to the Manufacturing & Supply GBU Head
- Run and structure the monthly governance cycle for IBP, partnering with various stakeholders to build reliable supply plans that meet business requirements. Summarize upcoming Supply Risks and propose Scenario for decision making
- Monitor supply chain performance, lead process optimization across GBUs, and deliver on all KPIs while implementing best practices and harmonizing processes
- Develop, review, and deliver financial plans, forecasts, and strategic plans in conjunction with M&S and Finance Business Partners
- Lead the identification and implementation of opportunities to standardize and simplify processes and technology, including the adoption of new AI and Digital Platforms
- Facilitate advanced planning tool (Kinaxis) adoption to ensure full E2E planning capability, and foster best practice sharing of planning system usage across GBU's
- Foster team development with a focus on employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, and driving high performance, while also supporting and enabling a strong safety culture
About you
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading global supply chain operations, preferably in the biopharma sector, with a proven track record of managing complex supply networks and implementing strategic initiatives successfully.
- Soft skills: Exceptional leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of driving transformation and fostering collaboration across diverse teams and cultures. High level of emotional intelligence and business integrity; role model for behaviours consistent with our company values.
- Technical skills: Proficient in supply chain management software (e.g., APS, ERP) and methodologies, with a deep understanding of demand planning, resource allocation, and performance metrics analysis. Ability to perform annual strategy cycle and tactical execution; knowledge of business frameworks; rounded presentation skills; ability to convince internal partners and negotiation skills is a must.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar. additional certifications such as APICS being highly beneficial.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in additional languages is an asset, reflecting the global nature of the role and the need for effective communication across diverse geographical regions.
